Privacy notice.

If you send me an enquiry, I use your details to reply. That is the whole arrangement: no mailing lists you didn’t ask for, no selling of data, no advertising trackers of mine.

What I collect and why

The contact form asks for your name, email address, organisation, an optional phone number and your message. I use these to respond to your enquiry and, if we end up working together, to manage the engagement. The lawful basis is legitimate interest, answering the people who write to me, and, where an engagement follows, taking steps towards a contract. If you email hello@k4.consulting directly, the same applies.

Where your details go

Form submissions arrive in my inbox and are also stored by WordPress.com (Automattic Inc.), which hosts this site and processes its forms under its own privacy notice. If your enquiry is about speaking or event hosting, I may share the relevant details with The Learning Line, who manage those bookings. Nobody else receives your information unless the law requires it.

How long I keep things

Enquiry details are kept for as long as it takes to deal with the enquiry and anything that follows from it, then deleted. Records of actual engagements are kept for as long as tax and company law require.

Cookies and embedded content

This site runs on WordPress.com, which sets a small number of functional cookies and gathers aggregate visitor statistics. The media page embeds YouTube videos and links to podcast platforms; if you play or follow those, those services may set their own cookies under their own policies.

Your rights

UK GDPR gives you the usual set: access to what I hold about you, correction, erasure, restriction and objection. Ask at hello@k4.consulting and I’ll sort it. If you think I’ve got something wrong, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
