What’s inside.

Everything is free to use. That’s the point of it: the best education and AI research shouldn’t be hard to find, and it shouldn’t sit behind a paywall.

Global schools directory

3.9 million school records across 200 countries, freely searchable at school level.

Research library

3,600+ curated articles across AI, pedagogy, governance and school leadership.

Al’s Edu Daily

A free daily briefing on AI in education, read the morning it lands.

Live education jobs

13,500+ vacancies aggregated from 116 sources, updated continuously.

EdTech suppliers directory

200+ education technology companies, from classroom tools to whole-school MIS.

And the rest

Multi-academy trusts, universities, events, books, podcasts, consultants, world education statistics and procurement opportunities.

Why a consultancy runs a free database.

Because the advice is only as good as the evidence underneath it. When I tell a vendor how their proposition lands with schools, or a trust board what the sector is actually doing, that judgement is built on this: school-level data at global scale, the research base, and a daily read of where AI in education is heading.

EduDirectory makes that evidence public. It earns nothing at the door, and it doesn’t need to. It keeps the consulting honest, and it means anyone who wants to check my working can.

The short version

Owned and curated by K4 Consulting, built by Al Kingsley MBE
Free to use, no paywall, no registration wall
School-level data, not just national statistics
Updated continuously, jobs and briefings daily
10,000+ visitors a week and growing

A vendor’s voice, in front of the right audience.

Ten thousand visits a week from people who care enough about education to look things up: school and trust leaders, researchers, jobseekers, journalists and the EdTech sector itself. If you sell into education, some of your next customers are already here.

Be listed

The EdTech suppliers directory is where schools compare tools. A listing is free; being absent is a choice.

Be evidenced

Commissioned sector research drawing on the database, like the K4 report on how schools in England buy their MIS. Your market, measured rather than guessed.

Be heard

Featured placement, a properly told story in front of the weekly audience, and a straight conversation about whether your message will survive contact with it.

How to start

Tell me what you sell and who you think buys it. I’ll tell you what the data says, what a listing looks like, and whether there’s a bigger story worth telling. If a free listing is all you need, I’ll say so.

Start a conversation

Listings are free. Judgement comes with the consulting.

Enquiries

Planning an event, or planning to grow?

For events, tell me the date, the audience and what you want the day to achieve. For consulting, tell me where you’re trying to get to. Either way I’ll be straight with you about whether I’m the right fit, and if I’m not, I probably know who is.
